  19. Ok, I have done the render of the Textures example in LightWave 3.0 with a 
  20. Toaster 4000 and an Amiga 4000/040 with 10 megs of RAM.

  22. I left the scene exactly as it is on disk.  Antialiasing was at medium with 
  23. Adaptive Sampling on with a threshold of 8 (default).  The output was set at 
  24. 35mm film and medium resolution with overscan turned on.

  26. No reduction of segments, no shadows, no saving to disk.
  27.  
  28. Time to render was 20m 25s.

  30. I also tried it with adaptive sampling off but everything else the same and it 
  31. took 30m 47s.

  33. This compared to the 9m 45s that was previously stated here using a 2000 with 
  34. some 040 board shows that rendering on the 4000 is slower.
